Kevin was introduced to music at an early age, being classically trained from the age of eleven. At twelve he moved to Hong Kong and joined the Hong Kong Concert Orchestra, and was introduced to jazz just a year later.
On returning to the UK, Kevin has continued playing with various brass ensembles, bands and orchestras. Since turning professional Kevin has played live with artists such as Lisa Stansfield, Will Young, Elvis Costello, and The Brand New Heavies, as well as recording in studios with some huge artists, amongst them Ray Charles, Tom Jones, Paul McCartney, Lauryn Hill, Jeff Beck and Annie Lennox.
Kevin is also a composer, and was commissioned to write three pieces of music for the Lido Theatre in Paris, to be used in their world touring 'extravaganza', 'Lido Tourneé' in 1998.
He was the Musical Director for the 'Heineken Night Live' shows from 1999 – 2002, held annually at the 10,000 capacity Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam and is the current Musical Director for the award winning 'Jazz Jamaica All Stars Big Band'
